Tom Cruise to play 'The Moon' in upcoming Film

Everyone's favourite little action man, Tom Cruise, is taking his acting to the next level in upcoming film "To The Stars".

It features the exploits of a family that build their own rocket in which to explore space, only to be thwarted by the celestial bodies that inhabit the Solar System.

In the upcoming blockbuster, directed by Cruise as well, he plays the moon. not the man in the moon, but the moon itself!

According to leaks of the script, Cruise's character is the villain of the piece, which is a rare move by the Hollywood A-Lister, known for his roles as the hero in most of his films.

An unnamed source has told us that everyone is excited with the project, and can't wait to see the story immortalised on the big screen.

"This project is one of the biggest ever undertaken in Hollywood history. A space epic is always a huge draw for fans, but this is unlike anything ever seen"

Cruise, famed for doing almost all of his own stunts, is tipped to be continuing this trend in 'To The Stars'.

It's reported that the film legend will be teaming up with Elon Musk to rocket himself to the actual moon, in a bid to portray the iconic role in person.

Again, leaked by an unnamed source, we hear that 'negotiations with Elon' are at a 'critical stage', and the rumour is that within the next month, Musk will agree to bankroll the trip using his own personal funds (in return for a part in the movie).

Cruise is known for his dislike of CGI to complete stunts in movies, and it seems that once again he is striving for perfection when it comes to the realism of this film.

As soon as more information becomes available, we will keep you up to date.

In the meantime, just prepare yourself for what is sure to be another massive hit for Tom Cruise's filmography!

What do you think of his latest project? Are you excited? Or is this a step too far?
